NJTMA again partners with Blue Star Mothers to support our active service members, veterans and their families.

ree

For the second consecutive year the New Jersey Technology & Manufacturing Association is helping support the NJ chapter of The Blue Star Mothers (a 501(c)3 Organization) by promoting their annual Beefsteak Dinner fundraising event, scheduled for Saturday, September 20th at the American Legion Hall in Lincoln Park, NJ.

Over 6,000 current members in over 200 chapters across the country perform a variety of tasks to help support and honor our active-duty service members, veterans and their families.

Special emphasis is placed on supporting deployed service members, as well as their families, during what is often a difficult time for both. These activities include care packages shipped to service members overseas, letter writing, participating in Wreaths Across America and visiting veteran's homes, just to name a few.

The NJTMA has always believed that a strong manufacturing base helps support the national security interests of the country. The association has programs for veteran training and has supported and promoted the Combined Veterans Club of Fort Dix Golf Outing for a number of years. This golf outing helps fund The New Jersey Mission of Honor, which collects unclaimed cremains of veterans from funeral homes throughout New Jersey. Cremains are given a military burial with full honors or returned to their families.

Supporting and promoting the local chapter of The Blue Star Mothers of America is just another step in NJTMA's commitment to honoring our service members and supporting them and their families as they defend and protect our country.

Last year's event was a great success. Please help us do the same this year!
